Tell the Truth Thurday! Changes....

Ok just the tittle of this post scares me....

And also reminds me of this

Crazy I know...

Anyway the changes that I am talking about are mostly blog changes... things have changed so much in my life in the last 2 years... (yep I'm just shy of my 2nd blogging year!) Our family has been changed from career loss, moving, adding baby #2, losing a very special family member, and lets face it just growing as a person and as a Momma...

Things have changed so much and yet I have just let the blog sit here in my corner of the blog-o-sphere and rot... well OK rot is a bit strong... I have been neglecting the blog and I keep coming back and giving lame excuses as to why I haven't been blogging and well I seem to have come to a conclusion that I need this blog, I need this space for me and that I need to change it up a bit because well I keep losing interest and if I'm not interested well how can you be interested??

So from here on out I am going to change up how this whole blog is going to work I am not going to be forcing myself to post a recipe every single Monday I am not going to be forcing a photo every Friday and if I just want to sit here and type well... I'm gonna!

I have been feeling very forced lately and while I want to post I feel that the blog is limiting me to crafts and food and well I'm more than that just like all of you. I will be working on a new "schedule" if you will over the next week or two that will include a few features, a few kids activities, a few recipes, a craft or two and maybe even a book review/post here and there too! (yes I've been reading!)

So if you will please rejoin me as I start to blog again and get back to the ideas that started this little place I call mine!

Tell The Truth Thursday! Why I'm Ok not making money blogging...

So as you may see here on the blog or rather you DON'T see here on the blog I don't have ads, I don't do sponsored posts, I don't sell anything really....

And well, I'm ok with that

I do consider blogging my job and the reason I do is because without blogging and crafting and connecting with you fine people on the internet I don't get out much....

Can you tell?!?!

Either way I consider blogging my job because it makes me take time out to make the blog better, to research for my projects, to make something productive about my day... and well that is how I keep up with the blog (or in recent days not keep up with it...) I make myself make time for it because it helps me keep my sanity as a Momma. And since my other job is being a good Momma my sanity is kinda important if ya know what I mean...

Now don't get me wrong I am not saying that sponsored posts are bad, not even thinking that selling ad space is evil or that selling your product is some crazy offense... to be honest that's just not how I want to run my blog right now...

Will that change in the future?

TRUTH... I don't know.

Would I say no to a few extra bucks kicking around... NO! Who would, but lets be honest here I'm just not at that point with this blog that I want to sell anything, my time, my space, even my opinion... and that is just what works for me.

Whats your blogging TRUTH? Are you making money on your blog? Is that what you set out to do or is it just how your blog evolved? I'd love to hear your story... share it in the comments!

The Power of Words!

If you follow Momma Made It! on Pinterest (AKA if you follow little old me... and here is how...) you may have noticed that I pin A LOT of quotes....

Like this one...
Or this one...
Moving moving moving...

Or even this one...
harry potter

Sometimes they are light hearted and funny and sometimes they are down right serious and heartfelt and every now and then I pin one that is sad and heartbreaking.... that's a whole lot happening to my heart right there... but that is just it.

Its amazing to me what words can do for us, what they "say" to us how they change our mood or our thoughts or how our hearts feel... It still shocks me that a word or two can change how I see things and how I think about them.

The power of words is really something when you think about how they effect us.

So I leave you with one of my favorite quotes...

Do you have a favorite quote, a few words strung together that you just keep coming back to... Share them in the comments I love having a few new words to rattle around in my head...

If I won the lottery...

While checking my twitter today and being very unproductive I clicked over to The Not So Functional Housewife, where she had a pretty personal post about what she would do if she won the lottery. Its kinda silly but I think we all know what we would do or have at least had a conversation about what we would do with the winnings.

Robyn and I have such great plans for lottery winnings but we rarely buy tickets... a little illogical hey!

But since the housewife shared what she would do I thought (since I am not feeling very crafty while tending a sick Max, prepping for the move and being sick myself...) that I would share our top 10 things we would do.

1) Buy a house!
(or maybe build my dream house... which looks a whole lot like Katie Bowers house)

2) Take a LONG vacation in Hawaii.
(I have a bit of a thing for Hawaii)

3) Pay off student loans and other debt!

4) Give our family members money or make their "dreams" come true.

5) Put away a trust fund/college fund for the kids.

6) Buy a NEW car
(like off the lot new)

7) Take the kids to Disney
(ok I want to go too...)

8) Open a restaurant.

9) Go back to school.

10) Go see Ellen
(in the audience of her show not like a stalker or anything...)

So what would you do if you won the lottery? If you post it on your blog join me in linking up with the Housewife!

oops...

It seems I've been a bad blogger...
I've been neglecting you and haven't posted all week...
I had such plans for this week and then a great big monster came and stole them all away...
that monster is...

ME...

I've not been away, or sick, or incapacitated in any way Ive just been in my head... I've been planning and thinking and honestly sometime that is just not a good place for me to be!  If you have been reading a while (or if your just catching up) I wrote a while ago about being an indecisive person and how it scares me...

I let myself get consumed in my head and I let decisions eat away at me until I do what I think is right or what I think is best and then once I make that decision I let it eat away at me more to the point sometimes that i talk myself out of what I have decided...

But I have also been planning and plotting some very fun things and somethings that make me happy!
AND as of tomorrow I WILL be back on regular schedule!

Tell The Truth Thursday! Losing my ballance...

Do you ever feel like life is like a tightrope, and while you are slowly making your way from one side to the other your balancing who you are and what you are on your shoulders, on the one side is who you are as a person who you have always been, on the other is all the things you are in life. You know being a daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother and so-on... but sometimes those things you are out weigh the who you are...  don't get me wrong I am all of these things and I love being each and everyone of them. However there are sometimes that being all of that takes away from being me....

I find as I take on more and more in life I feel like I am losing my balance between me and my roles in life. I don't feel like me. It may sound silly but I know exactly who I am and what I am as a person and every now and then I stop and take stock of me... and I feel like parts are missing or slipping.

So after a lengthy introduction my confession is that I need more time for me... and while that maybe strange as a confession, for me its a big one... I am definitely a people pleaser, as much as I don't take crap or put up with silliness (unless its from a certain adorable 3 year old) I want people to like me and I want to make them happy (it gives me a little boost when I do.. its a sickness I swear). It makes me feel guilty even wanting to spend time doing only things for me, it makes me cringe thinking about taking time away from my family to do something by myself.

There does however come a time, I think, that being all of those things you are in life is just not enough. I think that it takes parts of you and if you ignore the fact that you have lost that part for long enough it changes you, and you can't get it back.
So I am trying to make it a point to do things that are just for me, even if its just one hour once a week that I am not taking care of the kids, or my husband. One hour when I am not being a sister or daughter, a friend or even a blogger.

Turns out though that this is hard.... not only the guilt of taking time for me and only me, but what the hell am I going to do with this hour or two?

Do you take a few minutes or hours for yourself each week? I'd love to know what you do with your time maybe I can steal an idea or two...

Tell The Truth Thursday! I love my jammies....

I have a sick obsession with my pajamas I wear them a lot...and by a lot I mean I only get dressed if I am going out. Yep right now I'm wearing pajamas that have little cocktails all over them...

If I know that I am not leaving the house on a particular day I don't put on real clothes... not even sweat pants. I lounge in my jammies all day long, and if I do get dressed to go out or to have visitors as soon as I am home again or when the visitors leave I slip back into my comfy jammies. (you know because I don't believe in the pajamafication of our world... to me there is something a little wrong about wearing your jammies in public... but that is a whole other post.)

All of this wouldn't be so bad but you see I now have two kids.... When I was single or even when I had no kids it didn't matter what I wore around the house, I could have gone naked all the time (not that I did...) and who would care.  However now that I have two kids they look to me for their example... and Momma is making it OK to wear your jammies all day. I let my kids wear their jammies all day if we aren't going out, and that wouldn't be so bad every now and again right... but we only go out a few days a week... so about 4 days out of 7 we are in our jammies all day...

Part of me says who cares it is clothes and it's still covering them up, they are warm, they are comfortable, they are happy (and that is what matters to me). But then that other part of me, you know the Momma part that feels guilty about almost everything... she knows that I am teaching them things that they will carry on through their lives, things that will shape them into the people they will be, and that part wonders if wearing your jammies all day is a good habit, is it productive, does it tell them that we are lazy, or that we don't work hard enough?

So my confession today is that we are all (yup the four of us) wearing our jammies all day and we do most days!

Do you hang out in your jammies or do you get up and get dressed every single day no matter what you are doing?

It's My Birthday!

Wow another year gone! But what a great year it was!
In the last year of my life I have been blessed with so much!

I got married to an amazing man, who makes me laugh, keeps me happy and is an amazing father to our kids!

I got to celebrate another wonder Christmas with my beautiful family!

We found out that we were having another baby, and a boy at that!

We celebrated so many holidays and special events with our family and friends, including weddings, Birthdays, graduations, bachelorette parties, Halloween, Easter and so much more!

Max made his arrival!

We celebrated Delaney's 3rd Birthday!

And I even started a blog...
I've been able to push myself and work on things that make me happy through this blog and it has been such a great experience! Thank you for reading what I have to write, looking at the projects that I make and for liking my blog enough to follow along with my latest adventures!

What a great year I've had!

My new favorite show!

I am in LOVE with 30 Rock!

I had never seen an episode before but since I can't do much wile recovering from the C-section and I have already re-watched my Gilmore Girls DVDs (which I do at least once a year, or more if something in real life reminds me of an episode then I go back and watch that episode over again... yes I have a problem I know it) my sister loaned me her 30 Rock DVDs and  I have been watching them religiously! I love Liz Lemon, and her love of food and Star Wars! I love Kenneth and how painfully gullible and naive he is! and I love Tracy Jordan everything that comes out of is mouth makes me laugh!

The writing is amazing and completely funny, the actors and guest are beyond hilarious I honestly don't know how they can make this show without laughing all the time!

And sadly I am just now getting the multiple references to this show that my friends and the public at large have been making for the last few years... I feel so far behind in the times!

Do you watch 30 Rock? If you don't give it a try... its hilarious!

Combating Laziness

I am so lazy...
I feel like doing nothing...
I am this Bruno Mars song....

(the video sucks but you get the point)
I feel like because I am restricted as to what I can do since the C-section that there is nothing I can do... I am of course taking care of my kids (which is still weird to say and think, I have 2 kids not just one... Yikes) and I am taking care of myself but other than that I am not really able to do anything.

I am trying very hard to restrict myself and follow doctors orders but when you are independent, used to doing it all yourself and then some its hard to hold back.
I am watching lots of shows on DVD, lots of movies, and relaxing lots but I am feeling restless. I wish I could do more and I want to do more! I can't wait to get outside and be able to take Delaney and Max to the playground, I can't wait to walk for more than 15 mins without a break, I can't wait to WORKOUT! I know that this is what I need a good workout to feel better about myself and get my frustrations out but I can't!!!

I am dying to bake as well and I will be this week! I am making Delaney's Birthday cake this week and I can't wait! It feels like a life time since I did anything really creative and productive! I hope that this will help!

What do you do to combat your laziness? Do you just do what you have to do anyway? Do you ride it out? Or do you have another plan of attack? I would love to hear what you do maybe you can inspire me to find a way out of my lazy funk...

Tell The Truth Thursday! Unwanted advice and comments

I like these shirts for kids that say things like "My mom didn't ask for your advice"

I'm not sure that I would ever put a shirt like this on my child but I sure do like them and I agree with them actually.

There is nothing worse to me than a know-it-all in the first place, but when it comes to parenting COME ON! Live and let live is my personal opinion... yes I do like everyone else, judge others in my head and think wow that's not how I would deal with that or that's not how I would correct that behavior but I would never walk up to a person and tell them the way they are dealing with their child is wrong or even tell them this is how I would do it. But there are so many out there who do... I couldn't believe when I got pregnant with Delaney that from minute one strangers thought that having a baby belly was an open invitation for them to tell me how to raise the baby once she was born. Not only did I get advice about newborns but also about Dr's and about labor and delivery,  and about diapers and everything else that you could imagine...

I actually got cornered while at a wedding by a co-workers aunt who gave me the rundown according to her on everything from birth to sending my baby off to college. Luckily I got away from her when she was distracted by another attendee at the wedding, she had asked for my email and phone number and wanted to swap hers as well in case I had any questions for her after the baby was born.

Then just a few weeks ago I was at a coffee shop in the local mall. I was with Delaney, and she was acting up a little. So I did what I would do anytime or anyplace, I told her that little girls who don't listen and don't behave don't get treats. An older lady turned around and looked at me, then at Delaney and said "you tell mommy that your always a good girl..." Delaney looked at her like she was crazy and then back at me as if to say "what is this lady doing talking to me..." The older lady then looks at me and says "You shouldn't deprive her of sweets, and tell her she's a bad girl. She will only act up more to get attention" meanwhile my child is now standing in line waiting quietly and behaving as she should knowing that she will get her treat if she does.

I understand that everyone does things differently, I understand that there are lots of parents out there who have been doing this a whole lot longer than I have, I also understand that some people look at me and think that I am a whole lot younger than I am and that I am likely in over my head, however I still think that it is each and every parents choice and right to raise their children as they see fit. (As long of course as they are not physically or mentally abusing them)

If you find these shirts entertaining or rude, over the top or right on point you have to admit that they are at least a little true.... Who really wants a stranger to come up to them just to have them start lecturing and giving advice on how to raise your family!

Have you been offered unwanted advice? Do you like these t shirts? Would you ever put a shirt like this on your child? Let me know in the comments what do you think!

Tell The Truth Thursday! Things that make me go hmmmmm....

I really don't get some people....

I deleted a few people off of my Facebook recently because I hadn't talked to them in a while or they aren't really my friends and why would I let them in on the things I do day to day or how my life is going if I don't know you or like you or if frankly I don't want to...

So whats hard for me to understand is if you notice that I have removed you from my Facebook why would you go back and request me as your friend over and over and never even attempt to to contact me and say "Hey there how are you?"

This tells me that you don't really want to keep in contact with me you are either 1) one of those people who values them selves on how many friends you have and your just using me to keep "numbers" up there and you will never talk to me. or 2) your just nosy and you want to see me or my kids pictures or find out what we have or are doing and you will never talk to me.

If someone removes me from Facebook I'm not going to get all beat up about it, its an online community, not my real life. I know that it is a great way to reconnect (it's actually how I reconnected with my best friend after about a year or two apart) however I don't necessarily want to reconnect with every single person I have ever met, been introduced to, or went to school with.

How do you feel about Facebook? Do you keep it just for real friends or do you add everyone you know?

PINTEREST!!!

I'm obsessed!
I have a problem.... I love PINTEREST!
I think that whoever came up with the brilliant idea to keep an online log of all the cool things you can find online was a genius! It's so much fun finding new things to pin, looking at the great things that other people pin, finding things you may have never seen before. I sometimes get so excited when pinning that I forget to change which board I am pinning things to and I later find random recipes in my party ideas board, or blog stuff pinned to my craft ideas board.

As an aside I have no affiliation with Pinterest and they don't sponsor me or even know that I exist other than the automated emails that they send me telling me that someone has re-pinned my pin or that I have a new follower.

Are you on Pinterest? I'd love to have a look at your boards and follow you too!

Tell the Truth Thursday! I'm not too posh to push!

Disclaimer:  This post is entirely my opinion and is based on my experience, my choices and my situation. If you agree or not it is what it is, and while I am open to opinions and comments I would appreciate that if you have a differing opinion that you state it politely and in a way that is going to make this woman, who is 9 months preggo, cry her eyes out all day... Thanks.

This is an issue that I rarely bring up with certain people, and never with strangers mainly because I get stared at... I get looks like I am crazy, like I'm doing something bad, I even get eye rolls and frankly I just don't feel like listening to it. So when people say happy pushing, or happy labor to you or hope that he comes soon for you, I just say "Awwe Thanks" and I leave it at that.

But the TRUTH is, I am having a scheduled C-section on August 11th and I can't wait!

Our dear Delaney was born Via C-section after 17 hours of labor, 2 hours of pushing, intense pain because she was stuck with her chin and head on my pelvic bone. She was 9lbs 7oz and had a massive head...

So under the advice of my doctor (and a few medical residents) and my own research, we made a mutual decision to go ahead with a scheduled C-section this time around. I am not a very good candidate for a VBAC and frankly I didn't want to try and have the possibility of complications that would just lead to a C-section and the guilt I felt last time when I didn't deliver naturally. I completely agree with, and have said since my first birth experience that things don't always go as planned and you shouldn't blame yourself if you have to go an alternate route, as long as mom and baby are healthy that is all that matters. However in the moment and in the situation its much harder to feel that way, its hard to feel like its not your fault and that it was you who failed to progress or failed to do what your body was made to do, with all the hormones coursing through you at that moment after birth its hard not to feel that it is you who FAILED and then the guilt sets in. (maybe not for everyone but it did for me) And I just don't know that I would be able to deal with that, a newborn and a toddler at the same time.

So that is my TRUTH this week, I am having a scheduled C-section. No I'm not too posh to push, I just want to take the safest, healthiest option for me and my child's birth.

So are you brave enough to share a TRUTH that is a bit controversial? Have you posted about how you feel about an issue that may upset a few readers? Share it in the comments!

Help Wanted!

As you may have noticed, I haven't been baking or coking much and I certainly haven't been posting recipes on Make it Monday!

Personally I don't like to post recipes that I haven't tried, which is why I don't want to just post a random recipe each Monday.
I don't want to offer you a recipe that may never work or isn't truly tasty.
That's where you come in!

I'm looking for a few good bloggers!
YES that means YOU!

If you have a great recipe(that you have tested and tasted) and you want to share here on Momma Made It! then I WANT YOU!

I also would love to showcase some new photos too, if you have a great photo that you want to share I want to share it too!

Please leave me a comment with a link to your blog or send me an email and let me know what you would like to share!
You never know how many new viewers and visitors you might get from just one guest post, and I'd love to highlight some other great bloggers. If you are new to the blogging scene or your an old pro I'd love to have you!

Reminiscing....

I am finding it very hard not to compare every symptom and event in this pregnancy to my previous one.
I guess its extra hard for me because I am on pretty much the same time line as I was when Delaney was born, she was due on August 13th (born on the 21st) and Max is due on the 17th. I had lots and lots of braxton hicks contractions for about two straight weeks with Delaney and here I am again having them fairly regularly but not enough to go into or even think I'm in labor. I thought all along that Delaney would be born on Regatta day (its a holiday here in St. John's, there are rowing races and carnival games and its all held at a large pond in the east end of the city), she wasn't born on that day but I just thought she would be. That holiday is tomorrow.... and I am now wondering if maybe Max is planning on coming early and will greet us tomorrow...

Its strange to me how you compare something that you and really no one else has any control over and you know that both experiences will be totally different, but you still use that previous experience as a measuring stick.  I know that there will be differences from my last pregnancy and this one, as well as birth and even raising this baby will be different but still I look back and think well if this happened last time maybe it will be similar, or  since that happened last time it will likely be the same. You'd think though, that since every part of this pregnancy has been so different, the nausea, the intense hunger, the intense thirst, hip and back pain, not to mention the threatened preterm labor I would realize that its likely not going to be anything alike. This baby may never sleep as good as Delaney did/does, he may never have any problems with breastfeeding, he may have a totally different personality and his birth may shock and surprise me all together

Maybe its human nature, maybe its the craziness of a pregnant lady but even though I know that each situation and each baby will likely be completely different I am still sitting here for most of the day each day, comparing and wondering if this time around will be similar...

Do you have kids? Did you think this way when you were pregnant? Did you or are you comparing a recent or current pregnancy to the previous?
I'd love to hear all about it... Leave me a message in the comments!

Tell the Truth Thursday! I get mesmerized...

I get so mesmerized sometimes.... by my belly...
Sounds silly I have done this before, I have seen it all and I have felt it all but I get so caught up in the movements in my belly that I miss whole conversations, Robyn can usually find me sitting on the couch with my shirt up belly out watching little baby Max doing flips or hiccuping...
I don't know what it is about watching my belly that distracts me so much.
Maybe its the fact that it makes everything so real, you know, there is a conscious living, growing person in there. Maybe its that I get to feel all of this but I don't really always know what hes doing, the mystery of "I think that's a leg or maybe a hand but what is he doing". Maybe its the fact that this may be my last chance to experience this, we may not have anymore kids I may never get to experience pregnancy again so why not get caught up in the moments and the movements.
Or maybe just maybe its realizing that although I'm very uncomfortable in the heat and humidity, and I hate having to waddle, and I am going kinda stir crazy "taking it easy" and staying at home all the time, that I am so blessed to be able to have another baby. We have been blessed with another baby to love, cherish, spoil, teach, and watch grow into a  toddler, a child and someday a man.

What mesmerizes you? Your kids? Your life? Your Hubby (mine does sometimes... and not always in a good way... but that's another post...) Share your TRUTH in the comments!

Wedding Week!

Yup its wedding week... nope not mine of course but my best friends... They tie the knot on Saturday, and we have been so busy with wedding events and fittings and such all week. We had dress fittings and a bridal party bbq on Tuesday, rehearsal tomorrow (Thursday), bridesmaids "old school sleep over" complete with a game of DREAM PHONE on Friday, and then hair and makeup starts at 8 am on Saturday then all the festivities of the day! Plus I have been writing speeches all week too! I as the MOH am toasting the bride of course and they have asked Robyn to toast the bridesmaids as he is the only groomsman who knows all of us girls...

I am trying to rest up as much as possible early in the week so that I will be able to make it through the day on Saturday...

I am having such an emotional week with the wedding and the preggo hormones all at once... I am so excited to see my friend walk down the isle in the beautiful dress that fits her like a glove, I can't wait to give my speech, I can't wait to hear the other speeches because I know that the people giving them are going to make them great! I am so excited to see Robyn in a TUX again, he never dresses up so it will be nice to see, I can't wait to see Delaney in her dress with her hair done, she is so excited to go to the salon, just like the girls on Strawberry Shortcake. But at the same time, part of me wishes I wasn't ready to pop right now. I feel so huge, and uncomfortable and wish there was more that I could do. I dread the thought that I will likely have to leave early due to flat out exhaustion, I wish that I could go and dance all night with the happy couple and all of our friends, I wish that I could even properly take part in the toasts... I will be drinking Apple Juice on ice. I hope its a good year...

One thing I do know is that all this wedding talk and all the wedding events are reminding me of  the day and week that Robyn and I got married. We are coming up on our first anniversary and so much has happened in just one year. However I do have one small concern... What to give dear hubby for our first anniversary... I know that tradition says it should be a gift of paper but I'm not sure quite what to do? I want to make it myself (surprise, surprise...) Any ideas are certainly welcome!

Happy Canada Day!

I am a very PROUD CANADIAN!
And since today is Canada Day I thought I would share the top ten reasons that I am so glad to live in Canada!

1) It's a beautiful country! And lots of it is still untouched... you can still take a hike in the woods, or go jump in a lake!
2) You can see almost anything in Canada from beautiful oceans, to big cities, to the Rocky Mountains that seem go on for ever, sand dunes, dinosaur bones and grassy plains.
3) There are so many diverse cultures... our country really is a melting pot!
4) SNOW! I love snow... in the winter at least...
5) Tim Horton's! There's always time!
6) Captain Kirk was born here....
7) Trivial Pursuit! It was created by two Canadian journalists you know...
8) Democracy! Getting the right to vote is one amazing thing I tell ya!
9) Robert Munch! Amazing Canadian Children's Author!
10) C-A-N-A-D-A.... its easy to learn how to spell in school and it means Village! Our Country is one big village!

There are so many more.... but either way you look at it its great to be Canadian!
So to all you Canadians out there...

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Tell the Truth Thursday! Im a trekkie!

Its been a while since my Tell the Truth Thursday reveled something about me...
So here goes my confession my dear hubby has turned me into a TREKKIE!
Yikes I know!

It all started a long time ago when we first started dating.... and he would occasionally put on re-runs if he saw them on while channel surfing...  and then when we moved in together I realized that he regularly watch re-runs of the long running series (and I'm talking all of the three newer series's).
I started watching just to not be the nagging girlfriend who hated what he wanted to watch... and then in no time I was hooked...

They had such great writers, story telling and guest stars over the years...
I guess that is what I love the most... yes its set in space, yes its all aliens and science fiction with transporters, new planets and  crazy beings always attacking the ship or the station but at the heart of it all was a great story and great characters. The story was usually something that anyone could relate to... inequality, standing up for yourself, embracing a new culture, even God... (on more than one occasion) and you felt that even in the craziest situations you could feel connected with the decisions or feeling of one of the characters...

Its gotten worse over time... I have been looking for Star Trek onesies for Baby Max, I just finished watching all of the seasons of Deep Space 9 and have moved on to Voyager....
And sadly I have seen the most recent Star Trek movie (which was a recommendation as a Christmas gift to Robyn... you know one of those gifts that are more for you than for him but you feel too nerdy asking for it yourself...) more than any normal girl should...
